Well, it was another exciting weekend at the cabin! My favorite part was realizing that Lillian loves the water! I figured she would because she likes her bath so much, but I was unsure if she'd like the lake because it is cooler. We put her in up to her shoulders and she just looked at all the sand and rocks in the water under her feet. She even got confident enough to let her toes go in to the sand. It was very cute! She even had a little playmate in the water. Her second cousin, Josh, who she met for the first time last weekend. Now that we know she likes swimming so much we are going to take her to the pool.

We again rigged the pack 'n' play with the bug net and umbrella and mommy and daddy were able to catch a few rays while she played with her toys. She enjoys being outside and being naked or as close to it as possible. She spent a lot of time in just her diaper and was happy as can be. She also got lots of attention with all of her aunts and uncles up there with us. So now that we are back home and she isn't getting played with 24/7 she is a little disappointed. She misses you guys already! Mom and Dad are not as much fun. That new cd from Papa with all of the nursery rhymes that imported her name was sung to her about a million times by all of us while up at the lake. Now it is stuck in our heads all the time! "Lillian, you're gonna have a good, good time. Going over nursery rhymes; it'll be so fun..." Ahhhhh!

I have to retract my previous statement about her being a little champ on the long car rides. She DID NOT appreciate being in her car seat this past weekend. She has been pretty crabby about getting into this week because she likes to be held so much. Our doctor had said that you can't spoil a baby before 3 months. Well he failed to tell us what we do when she is 3 months and cries all of the time wanting to be held. We try to let her cry it out a little and sometimes it works but lately she has just been so ridiculously fussy for her. I guess maybe it is just that we have been dealing with such an easy baby to this point; it's now time for a few challenges.
