Here are some shots of Lillian visiting the Wisconsin State Fair with Grandpa, Liz (my step-mom), and Mommy. We had a great time! I think that Lillian really enjoyed being able to get a good view of all the action while strapped to Grandpa in the Baby Bjorn.
She got to see farm animals for the first time. We prepped ahead of time by reading her touch and feel book about farm animals. She really liked watching and listening to the pigs. She even got a chance to get up close to a horse. Then it decided to kick the pen it was in and that scared everyone, especially Mommy!
To cap off the event, we hit up the cream puff stand because apparently it is mandatory to get one before you leave. I opted for ice cream but as you can see, Lillian quite enjoyed her taste of Grandpa's cream puff. We'll definitely be back. This was good practice for the Minnesota State Fair in a couple of weeks. Although, I do not know if she will enjoy the deep fried food on a stick as well as those cream puffs!
