Lillian has been able to say "mama" for a while now but she has never really used it appropriately. It was always just a "baba" that evolved into a "mama" sometimes for her bottle back in the day. Recently, I noticed her saying it more and more and now it is clear that she knows that "Ma", "Mom", and "Mama" are all names for me. This, of course, is one of my favorite things so far to date. She's been using "Dada" appropriately forever so I have been jealous. The other favorite thing of mine is her kisses. She kisses ALL OF THE TIME now (people, books, cups, baby dolls, grandmas through the phone, stuffed animals...we even caught her kissing the coffee table) and she even makes that smoochy noise.

She is such a lovey girl-most of the time. Hopefully once these teeth all finish coming through (molars...ouch!) she will stop the biting and be an exclusive kissy girl. A mama can hope, right?

Here's Lillian in the lake for the first time since last summer. She is having a great time (notice those teeth bumps next to her bottom ones). Also here she is puckering up for the camera. MUAH!

Whoa, those teeth are gonna pop out any day now!

Isn't it nice when Baby is affectionate? Makes up for a lot of the yuckiness. We'd love for Anne to return our "I love you" statements, but so far, nothing. She just grins..
